The Office of the Oklahoma County Clerk is responsible for many of the financial functions of Oklahoma County. As Secretary to the Board of County Commissioners, the Budget Board and the County Excise Board, the Clerk's Office provides support to the annual budget process and prepares and distributes the County's budget documents. The County Clerk also prepares Oklahoma County's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, which has been recognized by the Government Financial Officers' Association for excellence in financial reporting. In addition, the County's Inventory records and general accounting functions are located in the County Clerk's Office.
