PRIA Welcomes Oklahoma as a PREP Star State!

On January 19^th, Carolynn Caudill, Oklahoma County Clerk, hosted the organizational meeting of the Oklahoma PREP Chapter.   Eva Thurman, Capital Abstract & Title Company joins Caudill as Co-Chair of PREP’s newest chapter, “OKPREP”. 

In addition to representatives from the County Clerk’s office, the first OKPREP meeting included participation from several other industry sectors, including the Oklahoma bar, land title and realtors associations, as well as the abstractor registrar’s office, county assessor, records preservation and information technology departments.  The OKPREP Chapter plans to meet monthly, hosted on a rotating basis at varying locations and inviting participation from other parts of the state
